The first thing we must establish is that our body is a living organism, made up of “living” cells and cell food is LIVING, RAW FOOD! The body processes these raw building materials (enzymes, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals) and transforms them into “fuel” for restoration and PEAK health. Our bodies have the amazing ability to heal themselves when given the proper “fuel” to rebuild and restore its immune system and essential body organs. Food is your best “medicine” as it heals from the inside out vs. treatment with drugs that suppress unwanted symptoms. I invite you to implement some of my Golden Rulesto help you regain your health and live well into your aging years for vitality:

  1. Avoid stimulants like white sugar, coffee, tea, cigarettes, alcohol, and table salt.

  2. Avoid hydrogenated (processed) oils, trans-fats & margarine.

  3. Avoid simple (refined) carbohydrates, including white bread, crackers, cakes and other processed foods (made with white "enriched" flour).

  4. Avoid unnatural additives, flavorings, and preservatives (MSG, maltodextrin, aspartame...).

  5. Fill 1/2 of your plate (or more) w/ raw fruits and veggies (www.choosemyplate.gov); add concentrated powder produce to your regimen to bridge the micronutrition gaps because we just can’t, won’t, or don’t eat enough (learn more about my recommendations and purchase here: Dr. Carol's recommended powder produce.

  6. Eat more beans, lentils, raw seeds, raw nuts and whole grains; plant power.

  7. Drink plenty of pure water (1/2 body wt. in ounces).

  8. If lactose or gluten intolerant or allergies or any chronic condition; eliminate dairy and wheat products.

  9. IF eating meat: only organic (no antibiotics or hormones), grass-fed poultry, beef or bison or wild caught fish (plants provide fuel and nutrition for peak health; meat slows the process down).

  10. Avoid pork as it is contaminated with parasites and difficult to digest (I haven’t eaten it since 1995 when I learned this)!

  11. Avoid processed, cured, smoked or dried meat (bacon, hot dogs, cold cuts); they are carcinogenic.

  12. Avoid shellfish (lobster, crab, shrimp) they are contaminated with parasites & viruses. Bottom-feeders are referred to as “cockroaches of the sea”….I avoid them completely!

Because I know, first-hand, how challenging it can be to eat like this every day, I recommend whole food supplementation to bridge the gap and a simple way to take that FIRST STEP.
